[GELÖST] C&C Generals Probleme

Hallo zusammen,
wenn ich C&C generals (zh) starte ändert das spiel das Bildformat auf 4:3 obwohl ich nen Laptop mit 15'4 Zoll habe (also 16:9 bzw. 16:10)! Würde das Spiel ja gerne nur über Vista spielen, jedoch hatte ich da einige Probleme mit der Kompatibilität von WinXP und Vista im Lan von Hamachi. Wäre schön wenn einer einen Lösungsansatz zur Verfügung hat.

Intel Core 2 @ 2.26 GHZ
3 GB Ram
Radeon HD 3450 (256 MB)
32 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate (beta)

Ach ja. Den Betatreiber von ATI habe ich schon ausprobiert, aber führt zu keinerlei Erfolg! Mit anderen Spielen habe ich es noch nicht ausprobiert!

Hab mich nen bissel belesen, Generals/Generäle unterstützt von Haus aus kein 16:9 oder 16:10 (was überigens ein himmelweiter unterschied ist )

Es gibt wohl aber die möglich keit in der options.ini einfach die native Auflösung deines Monitors einzutragen, anstatt der 1024er oder was auch immer voreingestellt ist.
Die Auflösung taucht dann aber nicht im Optionsmenü auf, sie wird einfach übernommen.

Habe das Problem entgültig gelöst:
So müsst ihr Vorgehen wenn ihr die oben genannten Probleme habt!
Installation step by step guide (by http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool.php)

1: Download MSXML 6.0 from Microsoft. (Default in Vista) - Install.

Step 2 is VISTA ONLY

2: Make sure UAC control in Vista is turned off. If you don't know how to do this then read this guide (method 4 is the easiest) or click the "disable UAC" in Mobility Modder.net - please note you MUST reboot after disabling UAC. If you don't want it disabled permanently, you can turn it back on after our mobility tool has finished, but it won't mod the drivers correctly with UAC ON.

3: Download the newest desktop drivers from www.ati.com (or get them from Driver Heaven Downloads). If you are using Windows XP make sure to download .net framework from Microsoft (this is built into Windows Vista so there is no need to install it).

4: Run the downloaded driver, let it extract into c:/ATI/SUPPORT - but cancel the installation once the driver is extracted.

5: Run Mobility Modder - browse to the driver in C:ATI/SUPPORT/ - an example of Catalyst 7.4 would be C:\ATI\SUPPORT\7-4_vista32_dd_ccc_enu_44985 - hit modify. Wait until driver is modified.

6: In Vista, go to C:\ATI\SUPPORT\7-4_vista32_dd_ccc_enu_44985 (Or whatever the driver installation folder was called), and run the SETUP.EXE. Please note you might see a "Driver is not WHQL certified", ignore this, as it is a side effect of the modification.

7: Wait until Install is finished and reboot.

8: Setzt die Auflösung von Breitbild auf 1024x768

9: Öffnet das Catalyst Control Center und geht auf Attribute--> Scaling Options!! Ändert die Einstellung auf Full!

10: Speichert die Einstellung und setzt die Auflösung wieder zurück. Nun werden alle 3D Anwendungen wieder gescalt.
