No. I have not tried printer LQ 550 on another PC with XP. I have on my PC W98 also and the fault is same.

well Edi, one could just suppose that the printer is showing a few signs of age.

There is probably nothing much you can do other than replace it by a new one or live with its faults.

OK for printer. Let him live with its faults. Pull of the data cabel is not so hardship. I have an second trouble with digital camera. Can I continue or open next tema?
