2. Filter list
Deinterlace filter
Removes the interlace stripes or converts a 30 fps film video to the original 24 fps.
Crop filter
Cuts the top/bottom/left/right unwanted part of an image. The image is resized or a black mask applied on the cut parts to keep the original size.
Ghost reduction filter
Reduces the ghost image due to the signal reflexion in terrestrial and cable TV broadcast.
Noise reduction filter
Spatialy (2 frame analysis) or temporaly (3 frame analysis) detects and removes the noise component of the video. Strongly applied, noiseless part of the image lost sharpness. This filter uses complex calculations influencing the preview and encode speed.
Sharpness filter
Detects and emphasize the contours in the image. This filter helps to improve the image compression ratio since gradation are more complicated to compress than sharp color differences requiring higher bitrate.
Color correction filter
Changes the color tones of the image. Color can be changed in RGB, YUV, CMYK and HSV space, a simple color setting mode is available as default.
Resize filter
Sets the position and resize method used by the encoder. It also set to keep or not the clip aspect ratio.
Audio correction filter
Provides noise gate, tone signal reduction, volume change, fade-in/fade-out and bilingual track settings.
