USB Bluetooth Dongle mit XP Treibern kein WIDCOMM!!

Hallo,

habe das Forum schon durchforstet und leider nicht gefunden was ich brauche. Ich habe einen USB Bluetooth Dongle von Acer der mit den Widcomm (das ist doch die MSI Software) Treibern funktioniert.
Diese vielen Symbole und die Einbindung in XP nerven mich tierisch, ich würde viel lieber die XP-Treiber benutzten, aber wie???
- habe XP-SP2,
- der Dongle wird beim einstecken nicht erkannt
- beim manuellen auswählen der Treiber finde ich keine Bluetooth Treiber
- bei automatischer Auswahl kommt nur kann nicht... und funktioniert nicht

Hat jemand einen Tipp, wie man diesen USB Bluetooth Dongle ohne die WIDCOMM Software mit XP Treiber zum laufen bekommt. Oder kommt man um das permante Bluetooth Symbol in der Taskleiste und auf dem Desktop (und überall :-X) nicht drumrum

1. Widcomm != MSI
2. Mit SP2 brauchst du ne aktuelle Version von Widcomm, die gibts bei Acer zum Download
3. Ohne Widcomm-Software brauchst du auch nen Treiber, dann halt für Windows - aber ich würde dir davon abraten, die MS-BT-Implementation ist eher für die Füss, Widcomm ist um Längen besser

Ich hab auch ein Problem mit dem Widcomm-USB-Dongle:
Ich hab mir den Stick bei ebay bestellt,der wurde dann acuh mit entsrechender Software geliefert.jedoch ohne Treiber für den Stick.Es wurde stehts nur ein unbekanntes Gerät erkannt. Nach mehreren Versuchen hat sich XP denn richtigen Treiber plötzlich irgendwoher aus dem Internet gezogen und alles hat geklappt.Jetzt musste ich jedoch formatieren und XP findet die Treiber jetzt nicht mehr,sodass ich den Stick nicht benutzen kann.Hat jemand ne Ahnung wo ich die Treiber herkrieg?

Sei bitte so nett und poste mal einen Link von Acer.
Ich habe einen Acer BT700 und finde dort ums verrecken keine Treiber oder Aktualisierungen der Widcomm Software. Problem ist...ich habe meine CD irgendwo verhudelt  ::)

Hallo,
dieser Link von Acer ist der richtige für den Download! http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/communication/usb_bluetooth.html
Man muss auf den Link contact us gehen und das Formular ausfüllen. Wichtig ist die Seriennr.
Anschließend kann man eine Archivdatei mit Kennwortschutz downloaden. Von Acer wird hierfür das Kennwort an die angegebene e-Mail verschickt.
Zu der Vorgehensweise von Acer gebe ich hier nur dieses Smiley als Kommentar :mad:
Ausserdem ist der Treiber (die Software) nicht die neuste! :-[
Für Windows XP SP2: Deinstalliere die alte Software ohne das der Dongel eingesteckt ist. Starte den Rechner neu. Anschliessend installiere die neue Software. Stecke den Dongel in den USB-Port er wird nicht funktionieren. Jetzt musst du im Hardware-Manager den DongeleintragBluetooth Radio aktualisieren. Im Willkommen-Fenster Software von einer Liste oder bestimmten Quelle installieren auswählen. weiter-> Dann im Folgefenster Nicht suchen, sondern.... auswählen. weiter-> Jetzt den Treibereintrag CSR USB Bluetooth Device auswählen oder Datenträger und in das Verzeichnis mit den entpackten Dateien wechsel....

Ich habe mal auf der Seite nachgesehen. Die Treiber sind wirlich Asbach und viele Zwecke nicht mehr einsetzbar. Der Update-Mechanismus ist
auch etwas zweifelhaft. :mad:

Es waere mal interessant zu wissen, ob man einen neuere Version des Stacks auch selber patchen kann.

weiter unten gibts nen link zu nem ftp. dort ist auch ein treiber zu finden. ohne angabe der seriennummer usw.

hallo
habe das problem mit dem selben gerät
ich habe es installiert und alles
nun kommt der fehler das das gerät nicht linzesiert ist

Ihre Bluetooth-Software ist für dieses Gerät nicht gültig [6]

dann muss ich die lizenz datei aus wählen ich habe es mit der linzenz datei von der Cd und dem aus dem internet(den link von euch)
aber keine geht
was soll ich machen

This is a small guide for those who installed the Service Pack 2 for Windows XP and are
experiencing problems with the WIDCOMM Bluetooth software..

If you install the WIDCOMM BTW 1.4.2.10 Bluetooth software on Windows XP SP2, you will get the following error as soon as you double click on the blue-red system tray icon:

Your Bluetooth Software license does not include use with this Bluetooth Device

After that you will be asked to point to a valid license.dat file. However if you select the
license.dat that came with your manufacturer's driver (be it on CD-ROM or downloaded from
the manufacturer's website) it still won't work.


The reason for this problem:

In the Service Pack 2, Microsoft included a generic Bluetooth driver, naturally being
WHQL-certified -- it's directly from Microsoft. The WIDCOMM Bluetooth driver however is not
WHQL-certified, so Windows XP continues using the generic driver. This interferes with the
WIDCOMM Bluetooth software resulting in the above error.

To force Windows XP to use the WIDCOMM driver, perform the following steps:

Don't plug in the Bluetooth device yet.

If you have any Bluetooth software apart from the included Windows drivers installed, deinstall
them and reboot. I am not sure if this is necessary, but just in case.

Install the WIDCOMM BTW 1.4.2.10 Bluetooth software. When it asks you to plug in the
Bluetooth device and click OK, don't, and click cancel instead.

When the WIDCOMM setup has finished, plug in your Bluetooth device and let Windows install
the driver. (There should be two Bluetooth icons in the system tray; one blue-white: this is the Windows driver - and one blue-red: this is the WIDCOMM driver which is deactivated.)

Now go to the Device Manager, right click on the Generic Bluetooth Radio and select update
driver. Don't let Windows XP connect to the internet, then select Choose software from a list or specified location. In the next window, select Don't search, but select the driver to install.

In the next window, activate Show compatible hardware (if it isn't activated already) and
select your manufacturer's driver instead of the Generic Bluetooth Radio driver.

Click next until the new driver is installed. Now the WIDCOMM system tray icon should be
blue-white as well, activated and ready to use.

If you now double click on My Bluetooth Places (e.g. on the desktop), the WIDCOMM software installation will be continued and finished.


This should solve any compatibility issues with the WIDCOMM BTW 1.4.2.10 Bluetooth software and Microsoft Windows XP SP2.

If you still experience problems, please reply to this thread. If necessary, I will update this
HowTo accordingly.

versuch doch mal den Treiber von BlueSoleil. Funktioniert bei mir tadellos. Mit dem Widcomm Treiber gab es sporadisch Schwierigkeiten bei der Erkennung des Haedset. Es lässt sich dabei auch eine Verknüpfung zum schnellen Verbinden der  der erforderlichen Verbindung erstellen.

Vorher sollte man allerdings unter Windows XP mit SP2 die eigenen Treiber wie folgt entfernen.

- Die Widcomm Treiber deinstallieren.
- bth*.inf und bth*.pnf im Windows-Inf-Verzeichnis löschen
- mit regedit, unter
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
den Bluetooth-Eintrag löschen.
- Neustart

Hi Freunde,

bis hierher eine Super-Beschreibung. ABER: bei unterschiedlichen Konstellationen installiert XP SP2 die eigenen Bluetooth-Treiber immer wieder neu. Zum Beispiel, wenn ich meinen Drucker an- und wieder abstöpsel. Frage nun: wie kriege ich XP SP2 dazu, nicht wieder neu mit der automatischen Hardware-Erkennung loszulegen?

Also den von BlueSoleil hab ich auch, wunder-prima dat Dingen... Nun hab ich nur noch Probleme mit der Nokia Software, im Datei-Manager zeigt er mir mein Handy, Synchro geht auch, aber sobald ich im Datei-manager auf mein handy klicke um mir die Ordner AUF dem Handy anzuschaue....mööööööp... naja, aber am Treiber des Dongles liegts nich... der funzt supaaa

unter Registry in xp finde ich keinen bluetooth eintrag
der dongle geht
man kann die software nicht neu runterladen, die 1.6.4 er Software
die neueste also
Wieso?

Beim kabel funktioniert es auch nicht, es erkennt das kabel einfach nicht. obwohl original
dku-5, nokia 6820

bei der BT verbindung erkennt das handy dann die BT verbindung nicht
soleil schreibt dann was von Nicht lizensierung und 5 Mb download oder so
Widcomm gibts nicht

hi all,
ich wollte der anleitung hier folgen, aber mein notebook hat den bluetooth-empfänger eingebaut, somit kann ich den nicht einfach entfernen.

weiss einer, wie ich dieses problem lösen kann?
