Video Codecs funktionieren nicht mehr

Hallo,
Ich hatte vorkurzem ein Codecpack auf meinem WinXP Rechner installiert um im WMP11 .flv Dateien abspielen zu können...da mir das ganze Ding nicht wirklich zugesagt hat hab ich es wieder runter geschmissen und siehe da alle meine Videos wollten nichtmehr funktionieren... Hatte erst gedacht es bestrifft nur .avi aber ich musste feststellen das auch .mpg davon betroffen ist. (.wmv funktioniert) Wenn ich ein .avi Video versuche abzuspielen bleibt das Video und das Programm sofort bei Start hängen.... Wenn ich versuche .mpg abzuspielen geht zwar das Video aber wenn ich in der Suchleiste auf eine andere Stelle klicke hängt erstmal der Ton und es dauert ewig bis das Video weitergeht... Oo Komischerweise funktionieren .avi Videos wenn ich die im DivX Player abspiele, wobei dort der gleiche fehler bei mpg auftritt. Folgenes habe ich bereids probiert:

DivX Codec installiert -> nix
XviD Codec installiert -> nix
WMP neuinstalliert -> nix
K-Lite Codecpack installiert -> nix
Systemwiederherstellung (haha) -> nix

Als ich K-Lite installiert habe sagte er mir das der DirectShow Filter von .avi beschädigt ist ... wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe. Also ich bin mit meinem Latein am Ende... Wär schön wenn ihr mir helfen könntet!
