Hello
I'll make this short and sweet, I just can't seem to find a solution to this and it's happening to more users in the office.
Out of the blue the HDMI to the LG TV's arent working from Dell 7480,7400 laptops.
When plugging in the HDMI cable the laptop screen goes blank and the TV doesnt pick it up.
fn+f8 and select duplicate (while screen is black) brings up the laptop and duplicates to the TV.
Selecting Extend turns the TV back to the screensaver and nothing changes on the laptop.
Troubleshooting:
All cables have been checked but it happens in multiple meeting rooms, equipment is in perfect working order, HDMI's, TV's etc.
I have done all updates on affected devices.
Uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers related to the graphics card.
Configured all correct resolutions in both display settings as well as the Intel Graphics panel.
I can arrange the screens in both the settings tabs but when I 'apply', it goes blank and only works in Duplicate.
This has happened with multiple devices now, I have done some reading and read something about a poossible bug at the moment? I can't crack this.
The issue seems to be coming from the HDMI port as if I plug the laptop into a docking station I can extend to the monitors just fine, but cant extend from HDMI pot.
Any other suggestions?
