Relisys 1200U Scanner läuft nicht, Set Scan Setting Error

Hallo zusammen,

kennt jemand das o.g. Problem?
Wenn ich eine Bildbearbeitungssoftware starte und scannen will, öffnet sich zwar die Twain-Anwendung korrekt, aber sobald ich auf (Vorschau-)Scannen klick, rührt sich der Scanner zwar kurz, bricht dann aber gleich mit der genannten Meldung ab.

Hat da jemand ne Idee oder->n Tip?

Set Scan Setting Error. Finally got it sorted via a German producer. For anyone who wants it, here is the solution (a lot easier than it sounds!)

With regards to the Set Scan Setting Error problem you're having, it is a problem I recognise for this model..

The first step that we would take if a scanner with a Set Scan Setting Error came back to our service centre, would be to tighten the drive belt
by loosening the two small screws on the board with the cogs, and sliding the board sideways, to stretch the drive belt to it's full tightness again.

The board is moveable to allow a drive belt that has been permananently stretched by use over a long period, to be re-tightened again.

Sometimes, the screws loosen during transit and the board moves a little, making the belt too loose to grip the cogs that move the scan head.
It is entirely upto you whether you feel comfortable undertaking this procedure.

It is fairly simple, and your trying won't invalidate your warranty or anything, so you don't need to worry about that.

Do remember to unplug the scanner from the PC and mains though! I'm sure that's insulting your intelligence, so my apologies, but you would be surprised at some of the obvious questions our service centre gets asked!
