Update Win XP funktioniert nicht ordnungsgemäß gelbes Symbol verschwindet

Hi,

ich hab ne Win XP SP2 Partition.. update auf automatisch eingestellt. Heute gab wieder mal ein gelbes Symbol für updates in der rechten Fußleiste. Es wurden auch daten runtergeladen. Plötzlich war das gelbe Symbol verschwunden !
Beim Runterfahren wurden mir dann 5 updates angekündigt und installiert (4 für Office , 1 f. Win XP), die ich ja nicht mehr ansehen konnte sondern nur noch akzeptieren oder ablehnen. Updates habe ich auf runterladen u. Installationzeitpunkt manuell festlegen bzw. auf automatisch. An was kann das liegen bzw. warum seh ich die updates nicht mehr mit d gelben Fußsymbol. wo ich sie bei manueller Installation erst mal vor dem Installieren ansehen konnte ? Wie kann ich den alten Zustand wieder herstellen um die updates erst durch Anklicken d gelben Symbols anzeigen zu können ?

Vermutlich ist der BITS (Intelligenter Hintergrundübertragungsdienst) ein wenig ins Schleudern geraten, was auch aber auch an der derzeit hohen Serverlast bei Microsoft liegen könnte. Wenn Du nicht warten magst, bis sich das Problem von alleine behebt, könntest Du den besagten Dienst (über Start -> Ausführen -> services.msc [Enter/OK]) stoppen, hernach im Windows Explorer den Inhalt des Ordners \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads löschen und abschließend den Intelligenten Hintergrundübertragungsdienst wieder starten.

danke für den Tipp. Kann den Intelligenten Hintergrundübertragungsdienst aber leider nicht anhalten bzw. stoppen sondern nur beenden oder neu starten. wie krieg ich den dann aber wieder an da er ja wohl aus der Diensteliste verschwindet !?

Ähm, nach einem Doppelklick auf den entsprechenden Dienst und unter dem dann erscheindenen Reiter Allgemein auch nicht?
Falls nein, beende ihn einfach. Der Dienst verschwindet damit nicht aus der Liste und muss/sollte nach dem Aufräumen im SoftwareDistribution\Downloads Ordner wieder gestartet werden.

Hallo Freudi,

Hab das alles mit dem BITS (Intelligenter Hintergrundübertragungsdienst) gemacht, den Inhalt des Ordners \Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads löschen und abschließend den Intelligenten Hintergrundübertragungsdienst wieder starten.
und auch alleine hat sich mein PRoblem nicht behoben !! Hab sogar das blöde Win Geniue Zeug nochmal installiert.


So war´s auch mit dem KB932823-v3 am 28.5.08 !
An was kann das wohl noch liegen ?

Welche Sicherheitssoftware läuft permanent im Hintergrund?
Gibt es Hinweise in der windowsupdate.log-Datei, die Du im Windows-Ordner finden kannst?

im Hintergrund läuft als Sicherheitssoftware Kaspersky Internet Security 7.01. Was da noch läuft - kann ich da durch ne Abfrage rausfinden ? Soll ich dir die WindowsUpdate.log schicken - ich blick da nicht ganz durch??

Hmpf und wenn Du diese zumindest testweise vollständig deaktivierst (oder deinstallierst, so das Deaktivieren nicht möglich ist) und stattdessen die Windows Firewall aktivierst, dann sieht es wie aus?

Was da noch läuft - kann ich da durch ne Abfrage rausfinden ?

Das meiste, was beim Windows-Start geladen wird, findest Du über Start -> Ausführen -> msconfig [Enter/OK] -> Systemstart heraus.

Die Ursache für dieses Problem wirds wohl nicht sein, aber ich würde es dennoch deaktivieren.

Die Meldung deutet auf eine Server-Überlastung (bei MS) hin.

Versuch Dich mal eben mit einem Windows-Benutzerkonto anzumelden, das über Administrator-Rechte verfügt. Danach unter Ausführen im Startmenü wuauclt -detectnow eingeben und mit [Enter/OK] bestätigen. Damit wird die Suche von AutoUpdate erneut gestartet. Falls das wieder zu ähnlichen Ergebnissen führt, dann unter dem Benutzerkonto mit Admin-Rechten die Windows Update-Seite im Internet Explorer aufrufen und eine Benutzerdefinierte Suche durchführen (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com).
